Silvia Torres, LMHC-D, NCC
Founding Clinician
Silvia Torres is a licensed mental health counselor and nationally board-certified counselor by NBCC. She graduated with a MS Ed in Mental Health Counseling with honors from Hunter College. Ms. Torres has extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, loss, anxiety, depression and struggling with life transitions. Silvia also focuses on working with individuals who are interested in exploring the cultural impact of their identity and how this relates to their place in the world.

Margaret Riback, LMHC, CRC
Senior Associate Clinician, Clinical Supervisor
Margaret Riback is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. She graduated from Hofstra University with a M.S. Ed in Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Riback is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has experience working with children, families, and adults experiencing varying difficulties. Margaret focuses on assisting those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and work stress.

Patrice has several years working within NYC providing supportive services to the community. She focuses on working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, adjusting to life transitions and those struggling with the challenges of living with a chronic illness.

Richard Zekaria is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. He graduated with a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. Richard has experience working in various setting which has allowed him to develop an eclectic approach to best meet the needs of his clients. He focuses on working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship concerns, wanting to improve their self-esteem and those within the performing arts community.

Rosemary Culotta is a provisionally licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. She graduated from Adelphi University with a MA in Applied Psychology and completed her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mental Health Counseling at Alfred University. Rosemary has worked in community supportive services with the neurodivergent population for over 20 years. She currently works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, work related stress, trauma as well as parents or caretakers of persons with Autism.

Shaneka Nixon is a provisionally licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. Shaneka graduated from Long Island University with a MS in Mental Health Counseling and is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). She is currently focused on working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, family discord, low self-esteem, romantic relationship concerns, as well as, those with a substance abuse history or have been impacted by substance abuse. Shaneka also has works with auxilary members of the Christian community as well as the BIPOC population.

Sandy Torres
Office Administrator
Sandy Torres is the office administrator. She is in charge of administrative duties as well as managing the insurance and billing aspects of the practice. Sandy is able to assist you with rescheduling appointments, addressing billing issues, assistance with invoices and "super bills", and other administrative needs.
